Manufactured using thermoplastic, in this case - polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG). PETG was chosen due to it's resistance to UV radiation, and it's durability compared to many other materials. This part shouldn't fade excessively, or weaken in the sunlight.
Allows removal of stock gas tank cover / map switch holder, AND is compatible with IMS Oversized gas tanks!
With stock gas tank cover removed, removal of the gas tank no longer requires removal of the map switch.
Allows top of gas tank to be visible for visible fuel level inspection.
